FAQs: Using MediaBids
I'm new to MediaBids, can you tell me how it works?
MediaBids helps you sell print ads. Register your publication with MediaBids and advertisers will invite you to participate in their ad auctions. Advertisers' budgets will be posted at MediaBids and you can bid for those dollars using ad space in your publication. Or you can make available future advertising space in your publication with MediaBids, using the Publication Offer option. You set all the parameters for the ad you would like to sell, and an advertiser can buy it immediately.

Why should I use MediaBids?
If your ad sales aren't what they could be and you're ready to try something new, then you'll want to use MediaBids. We make selling ads easy, just log on daily to see the latest advertisers who want to buy ads or create your own offer to sell ad space. -
Can you explain how Advertiser Auctions work?
Advertisers will post the amount of money they want to spend on an ad using an Advertiser Auction. They will also enter other requests that may be important to their decision, such as placement, color, desired run date, etc. A publication will bid using ad space, and describe what they are willing to offer in regard to other variables such as color, placement and run date. The winner of the auction is the publication that the advertiser believes will best meet its needs. -
Can you explain how Publication Offers work?
A publication will offer a specific ad space to prospective advertisers. The publications determine the size, and all of the specifications including whether the ad space described in the offer is available for sale once, or on a continuing basis. If the ad is available continually, different advertisers can take advantage of the offer. Standing publication offers are a great way to make customers out of motivated advertisers, interested in your publication. -
Can I see an example of Advertiser Auctions and Publication Offers before taking part?
