FAQs: Using MediaBids
What will an advertiser see about my publication in the MediaBids Media Kit?
MediaBids' advertisers are not just local advertisers; they're from all over the nation. They'll want to know why they should consider your publication for their ad. Or they may want to compare media kits from many different publications. If your competitor's Media Kit is complete and yours is not, you're at a disadvantage.

How do I get to the various sections of the Media Kit?
Just click on the tabs on the top of each page. -
Do I have to complete the Media Kit?

Your publication will be informed by e-mail every time the information in your Media Kit is changed. -

Once they've found my publication, what information is available?
An advertiser may view your Media Kit, as well as view any offers that your publication has available for sale. -
What will an advertiser see if I haven't completed my Media Kit?
The advertiser will see the information you provided when you registered your publication. If you've completed any of the Media Kit, that portion will be visible as well. -
Once they've found my publication, how will the advertiser use the information to purchase an ad?
Advertisers can use the information to buy an ad in two ways: they can view any offers your publication has available when they view your information after a search, and they can add your publication to their 'My Favorite Publications' list. This means that you will be invited to bid when this advertiser initiates an auction. If your publication receives an e-mail inviting it to an Advertiser Auction then an advertiser placed your publication on his or her list.
